Revlon Soft on the Eyes Sheer Loose Shadow

These loose eyeshadows are very soft and also very light. These eyeshadows don't have very strong pigmentation and can appear sheer when applied. They are however buildable. I have also used these eyeshadows are a base when creating some eye looks. I have applied these dry, wet and with primer. They are most difficult to work with when dry and can cause a lot of fall out. They show up the most when used with primer. When applied wet they are easier to work with and there is also less fallout. They are also easy to blend out.  There is also a very pleasant smell from these loose eyeshadows. These are shimmery eyeshadows while also very subtle.  

Longevity

I find that the longevity from theses eyeshadows is not brilliant. I will usually see creasing within fours hours if even that long. That will even occur when I am using an eyeshadow primer.

Packaging

I do really like the packaging of this product. It comes in a container that when open allows you to access the loose eyeshadow, however when closed it moves a special tray over the eyeshadows that closes the open hole allowing the eyeshadow out. I really like the style of this packaging.

I paid approximately €6.00 for these eyeshadows. They are available from pharmacies nationwide and also at Revlon stands.

Would I buy this again? No.

Revlon Professional: Equave 2 phase

 Ah hair products. I think no matter what hair style you have there is always an endless quest to find the right products.  This product is from the Revlon Professional range. It the Equave2phase hydro nutritive conditioner. 


This conditioner claims to 'Treat simultaneously the internal and external parts of the hair. Nourishes, moisturizes and reinforces the structure of the hair fiber. Smoothes, softens, untangles and enhances the hair without adding weight'. 

This Instant hydro nutritive leave-in conditioner is for dry or damaged hair. These are both problems that I have with my hair.  It often gets damaged from the use of hair dryers, hair straighteners, hair curlers and also daily damage.  Also while the roots of my hair are oily, the ends can become very dry. After discussing this problem with my hairdresser, she recommended that I try this product.  

I apply this leave in conditioner to my hair in two ways.  Firstly, when I wash my hair I lightly towel dry it and then spray it onto my hair after I have combed it.  I feel that this prepares it for the use of the hair dryer. The second way that I use this is on dry hair.  If I feel that my hair has gotten dry or it is stressed from the day I will apply it to my hair to condition and soften it.   

I also like that this product doesn't make the roots of my hair extra oily. Even though I don't spray it on the top section, this has happened before when I use a product on the ends.  

 This is a picture of the bottle when it has been shaken before use.  Before I shake it the formula is divided into two parts and once shaken the product mixes together.

I forgot to take a picture of my hair before I started using this product, however this is one from having been using it for approximately two weeks. This is towards the end of my hair and it now appears less dry and broken.  

This product cost me approximately €14 and I will be purchasing it again.  

Revlon Colorstay Foundation

I loved this foundation for many reasons however it was not meant to be.  

Product

Revlon Colorstay foundation comes in two different formulas,  one for Noral/Dry Skin and one for Combination/Oily skin.  I have tried both of these as my skin has changed over the past year and a half.  This foundation is very liquid and when I first opened the bottle and poured it out I had low expectations. This did take me a few tries to get used to the liquid consistency and also how to apply it. Once I had mastered that it always applied excellently. The coverage from this foundation was excellent and could also be used for concealing purposes when needed. 

The main problem with this foundation, with both formulas,  was that it caused my skin to break out. I really wanted to love this foundation and I did until this happened. When I purchased this initially it took me a while to figure out what was giving me bad skin.  I used the Normal/dry first. Then about a year later I decided to try the Combination/Oily foundation as my skin type had changed and I though that it might just be the Normal/Dry formula that caused me to break out.  However, after about a week it caused my skin to break out again and this time I realised instantly what caused the problem.   

Longevity

I applied this foundation in the mornings and it would always last me in entire day. This would include all weather types and also if I had a very busy day. The only time I would re-touch it would be when I was going out that night and  I wanted it to look very freshly applied.

Price

I paid €18.99 for this foundation. I purchased it in Boots but it is available in many pharmacies nationwide.  

Would I but this again? If this had  not caused me skin problems then I would, however it'll have to be a no because of the bad reaction I had from it.  

Revlon Colorstay Mineral Mousse Foundation

The correct foundation is always difficult to find. I, like most other women, have tried many  foundations, trying to find a foundation that has the right coverage, shade, texture. Every shopping experience where I look for foundation is filled with questions such as, 'Will it have the right finish?', 'Will the shade be too dark?' or 'Will it last long enough when I apply it?'. Therefore, this is my first of many reviews of different foundations.

This foundation is from Revlon's Colourstay collection. I purchased this in '10 Fair' as I have very pale skin. The formula in this foundation is probably one of the worst that I have used. I tried to apply it with a 'Mac 187' brush and it was very difficult to work with and also I needed a lot of product using the brush. I also tried it with the ELF studio powder brush, which I use regularly to apply my foundations, and it was equally as bad as using the 'Mac 187'. Finally I tried a sponge, which I don't like using because of the bacteria held in the sponges after one us. This was the worst method to apply with. The sponge absorbed most of the product and anything that it did apply it simply moved the product around my face.  


There is a smooth mousse like texture from this foundation. I initially thought that it was the mousse  texture that was making if difficult to apply. However I have used mousse foundations before and they have been fine. 


The '10 Fair' shade was a good match for my skin. It was therefore disappointing that the coverage and formula were terrible. 


Longevity
I applied this several times in the hope that one way would work. However, I had to remove it after I applied it as it looked terrible. Therefore, I don't know how long this would last as I couldn't wear it for any more than a half an hour, as I felt it looked so bad. 

Packaging
The one redeeming for this foundation was the packaging. It comes in a nice black plastic tube. It is easy to just put it into your bag without worrying if it'll get damaged. It is also easy to get the product out. 

Price
I'm not sure the exact price of this in stores but I think its approximately €15. I purchased it from ebay for approximately €7.
