Makeup Look: Nearly Purple

I have recently started back at college to do my masters so with nine o clock starts, my morning make-up has become a lot simpler. To create this look I used Natural Collection in Blackcurrant/Violet. 

How I created this look:

1. I applied Urban Decay primer potion to prime my eyelids.

 2. Next, I applied the lighter of the two purple colours from my eyelid to slightly above the crease of my eyelid.

 3. Now I applied the darker purple to my eyelid and then blended both the colours on the crease.

4. Finally I applied NYX doll eye mascara to finish the look. 

This is a very simple look and very useful for when you may be in a hurry.

Makeup Look: Plumtastic

This is another look created with the Urban Decay Naked Palette. I would consider this a good look for day time or if you prefer something neutral. I used mainly the purple and plum colours. Although the colours appear more brown in the pictures for some reason. 

How I created this look:

1. I primed my eyes from lid to brow bone. 

2. I then applied 'Toasted' on to the entire eyelid. I blended it in to make it appear more natural and soft.  

3. Next I applied 'Hustle' to the crease and blended it with 'Toasted'. I wanted the colours to be very blended and very soft. 

4. I applied 'Virgin' just above where 'Hustle' ended all the way to my brow bone to highlight the area. 

5. I finally applied NYX doll eye mascara to my top and bottom lashes. 

I wanted to keep this look very simple therefore there are only a few steps. I wear this look a lot as it is good for nearly all day  looks. 

Makeup Look: It's almost Pink!

I created this look using the 120 palette. I purchased this about six months ago and I have used it for so many things. There are no names on the eyeshadows but I have indicated on the second last picture which colours I used. 

How I created this look:

1. I primed my eyes from eyelid to eye brow bone. 

2. I then applied the lightest pink, on the first row of the palette. I applied this to my entire lid and slightly over the crease. 

3. I then applied the glittery pink, on the fourth row of the palette. I applied this from the crease to the brow bone and blended it with the light pink.

 4. Using the brown in the fifth row I applied this to the crease. I blended it with the pink to soften the look. 

5. I applied the bright pink in the ninth row along the lower lashes and just above where I would apply the black eyeliner. 

 6. I applied Barry M Intense Black eyeliner pen to line my eyelid.

7. To finish the look I appled Benefit's Bad Gal mascara.

Makeup Look: Blue and Green

I decided to go for something a little more colourful for the next eye look. I was actually trying to achieve a different look when creating this but I liked when it turned out this way. 

How I created this look:

1. I applied Revlon's Vital Radiance Smoothing Eye Primer to my eye lids. 

2. Then I used the dark blue in 17 'Moody Blue' trio eyeshadow and applied it to my entire eyelid and slightly about the crease. 

3. Now I used the second darkest green shade in 17 'midnight storm' trio eyeshadow and blended it with the dark blue. 

4. Then I wanted to use a green with a frostier look so I used 17 solo eyeshadow in 'Green Glimmer'. I placed this in the inner corner and blended over the entire eyelid. 

5. I then placed some of the lightest green from the 17 'Midnight storm' trio eyeshadow under my brow bone. I blended this down to the crease. 

6. I was going to use black eyeliner but decided on something different and went with a gold gel eyeliner. I also decided to bring it all the way up to my eyebrow. 

7. Once I had applied the eyeliner, I then used Benefit's Bad Gal mascara to make my lashes look full and lengthened.

I couldn't fit all of the colours into this chart but it's explained in the post.

Makeup Look: Using Urban Decay Naked Palette.

This is the first post I am doing on a look that I have created. It isn't a very colourful look but it is good for a stronger neutral colour. 

How I created this look:

1. I applied Urban Decay's Primer Potion to my eyelids. 

2. I then used a large eyeshadow brush and applied a light layer of 'Naked' to my eyelid. 

3. I then applied 'Smog' to the middle section of my eyelid and blended it out. 

4. To the end of my eyelid I applied 'Darkhorse' and then blended it out and also blended with 'Smog'. 

5. To highlight the upper eye and towards the brow bone I applied 'Virgin'. I also lightly blended this into the crease of my eyelid. 

6. I then applied Barry M Intense Black Eyeliner Pen to the waterline and upper lid. To make the eyeliner on the upper lid more intense I then applied a Natural Collection Liquid Eye Lines eyeliner. 

7. Finally I applied two coats of NYX Doll Eye mascara in Black Long Lash.

8. I have not done anything with my eyebrows here but I will usually use eyebrow powder and gel to make them look groomed.
