Benefit Full Finish Lipstick: Flirt Alert

Another great lipstick from Benefit!
Product
Benefit Full-Finish Lipstick is described as a 'rich, seductive full-finish lipstick that gives 'coverage and colour.' It is also said to have a 'creamy formula with medium to full coverage'.
This is not a red lipstick for the faint hearted. It is what I would consider a very red lipstick. It is very pigmented and it gives full coverage. The colour intensity from this is really good. It is also very smooth and moisturising. I have used other Benefit lipsticks and had no problem applying directly from the tube, however this one was more difficult. I also didn't want red smeared all over my face. Therefore I used a lip brush to apply it for a more precise application.
Longevity
It is the longevity that make these lipsticks great. I will usually get four to five hours from this lipstick. If I have something to eat it will usually be less but that's to be expected.
Packaging
This Benefit lipstick, like all the others, comes in a black cardboard style box with an insert with a picture on it(as shown above). The lipstick, itself, comes in a very elegant and glamorous black tube with the white Benefit design and logo on it. There is 3.0g or 0.10 ounces of product provided.

Price
I can't remember the exact price of this lipstick as it has been a while since I purchased it. It is available from Dehenhams and also Benefit online.

Would I buy this again? No. Not because I don't like it but because I don't think I will use the full tube of this one.

Benefit Full Finish Lipstick: LaLa Land

Product
Benefit Full-Finish Lipstick is described as a 'rich, seductive full-finish lipstick' that gives 'coverage and colour'. It is also described as a 'creamy formula with medium to full coverage. The texture of this lipstick is so soft and creamy. It is also very moisturising, as the claim stated. It doesn't dry out my lips and can actually help if I feel that my lips are dry. This is also really pigmented and offers great full coverage.

I use two different ways to apply this. I will either apply it directly from the tube or I will use a lip brush to brush it onto my lips. This is described as a 'nude rose' colour. I think that it is a little dark for my skin tone to be a neutral colour. It would however be an excellent nude colour for someone with darker skin.  It is still very wearable during the day though. I will also sometimes wear this with a light smoky eye.

Longevity
Compared to some other lipstick that I have tried there is good longevity for this product. If I don't eat or drink I will usually get four or five hours from this. I do have to reapply sometimes, however I don't have a problem with this.
Packaging
This Benefit lipstick comes in a really nice black cardboard box with an insert with the picture shown above on it. The actual lipstick comes in a very elegant and stylish black tube with a white design and the Benefit logo on it. There is 3.0g or 0.10 ounces of product provided.

Price
I got this in Debenhams and I can't remembeer the exact price as I have had it for a while, however this exact type is available from Dehenhams. The shade is also available from Benefit online.

Would I buy this again? Yes.

Elf Matt Lip Colour

This is the first lip product that I have purchased from Elf.

Product
Elf describes this as a 'convenient jumbo sized lip pencil' that 'creates exact colour application with twist up ease so you never have to sharpen. The pigment rich colour glides on effortlessly and easily to provide long lasting matte colour. The enriched Vitamin A,C & E formula moisturizes and hydrates lips for beautiful healthy looking lips'. I got this lip pen in natural. I like this lip pen as you don't have to sharpen it. I have purchased many pens similar to this where they have to be sharpened and have stopped using them as they are too difficult to sharpen.

This lip pen does have very good pigment. When I applied it to my lips I expected that it might look drying as it was a matt formula.  However, it didn't do this. It also has a very smooth texture and as it is in pen form  it is very easy to apply.

Longevity
The main problem with this lip pen is the longevity. It doesn't stay on for very long. It lasted me about an hour. It doesn't bother me to have to reapply it, however I would still have liked if it stayed on longer.

Packaging
This lip pen comes in a very nice black box with the pen viewable at the side of the box. The pen itself is in a black plastic round container with a twistable  lid.

Price
This costs €4 and it is available from ELF.

Would I buy this product again? Yes. Even though it didn't stay on very long, I don't mind reappling it and I like that it has a natural matt finish.

July Favourites

I know it's a few days into August so I apologise for being a little bit late with my July Favourites.

1. I'll start with what I have definitely been using the most. It also made an appearance for the June favourites.  It's Urban Decay's Naked palette.  I still use this nearly everyday and also night for creating different looks.

2. I have also been using Urban Decay's Supercurl mascara a lot this month since I received it for my birthday. It  really finishes off an eye look and is great for day and night time.

3. With regards to foundation I have been using Max Factor Lasting Performance. It gives me great coverage and also gives a flawless look.

4. For priming my eyes before eyeshadow I have been using Revlon Vital Radiance. It gives great longevity to any eyeshadow that I apply and also prevents any creasing.
5. For my lips I have been using a Benefit lipstick in LaLa Land. I will be reviewing a few of Benefits lipsticks soon.

6.  I have been using a variety of different blushers and bronzers over the past month. I have been trying to use different ones instead of using my Benefit Coralista and also testing some other's for review purposes.
7. For my nails I have been using, again, Penny's Cornflower and also Tesco's Barbara Daly Goodbye Yellow.

8. For my brushes I have been using mainly MAC 187 for foundation and No7 concealer brush and also Elf stippling brush for applying my high definition powder. I have used some other brushes too but these have been the ones I have used most.
